The Centre for IT Education has become the Constituent College of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa with effect from 1.2.2006 as per the decision of Govt. of Orissa. Since then it has been functioning under the direct control and supervision of the Vice Chancellor of the University.

    • Frequency of the Board Meetings and Academic Advisory Body At least half yearly.  Board meetings take place at least thrice a year as per the Statute (Annexure-II)

As per the BPUT Statute, the following committees look after at college level functions as indicted below:

i.    Academic and Administrative Committee
ii.   Building & Works Committee
iii.  Library Committee
iv. Students Affairs (Examination, Discipline) Committee
v. Training & Placement Committee

All the committees under the chairmanship of the Principal of the college meet most frequently and interact on various aspects concerning the improvement of the college.

    In all matters about the improvement of the Institution, students and teachers are involved.

    A Suggestion Box is kept to get feedback accordingly steps are taken for enhancing faculty performance.

    All the employees are governed under the BPUT Statute.
